What IPD Verified means

IPD Verified is a manual trust signal on Indian Photographer Database (IPD). It means the profile and professional identity completed the applicable IPD verification process. It is not a paid placement, a booking guarantee, or a promise about future performance.

What the badge confirms

The public photographer profile and professional identity have completed the applicable manual IPD review process.

For verified profiles, the reviewed base location is treated as a trust-sensitive field and later changes require review before replacing the public verified location.

What the badge does not mean

It does not guarantee availability, price, delivery time, safety, service quality or a successful booking outcome.

Couples should still review current work, written reviews, pricing, availability and the photographer's written terms before deciding.

Verification is not sold

A photographer cannot buy the IPD Verified badge as a visibility upgrade. Verification and commercial gallery/tool purchases are separate.

Featured and Award Winner labels are also separate from verification and are not inputs to automatic organic ranking.

Verification vs Performance Score

The IPD Performance Score is a separate 0–100 organic discovery metric. Verification contributes only its published verification component; native published reviews and deterministic profile completeness make up the other ranking inputs.

How to read IPD trust signals

IPD Verified: Manual profile/professional-identity trust process.
IPD reviews: Published written reviews collected and moderated through IPD.
Ratings: A displayed rating count may be legacy/imported evidence when no native IPD review aggregate exists; it is labelled separately and does not feed organic ranking.
Featured / Award Winner: Editorial or recognition signals. They do not change the automatic organic Performance Score.
