Indian Photographer Database gives clients two parallel ways to discover photographers: browse the database directly, or use Match by IPD to narrow a requirement into a smaller set of relevant options.

Share a short requirement covering location, date context, event and coverage needs, approximate scale, preferences and budget context. IPD uses factual eligibility and available profile evidence to narrow relevant options.
We widen geography when local supply is thin
IPD starts with the event city. If there are too few relevant profiles, the visible pool can expand to suitable photographers elsewhere in the state, destination-capable photographers and then the wider India pool. IPD aims to keep at least four relevant visible options where enough eligible profiles exist.
Expanded profiles stay transparent
A photographer shown from another city is never presented as local. Their real base location remains visible, and travel to the event location is treated as something to confirm rather than something IPD assumes.
The couple controls contact sharing
A visible suggestion is not the same as an invitation. IPD can invite a limited number of relevant photographers to respond, while the couple’s phone number and email remain protected until the couple explicitly chooses to connect.
Payment does not buy Match priority
Paid plans, advertising spend, Featured recognition and higher quoted prices do not buy a better Match position. Match explanations are based on the requirement and available profile evidence.
Why the four-option target is not a guarantee
IPD aims to show at least four relevant photographer options when the database contains enough eligible supply. It does not manufacture matches, mislabel photographers as local, or weaken clear event/service exclusions just to fill a number. When fewer suitable profiles exist, the available set is shown honestly.
What happens after a Match is created?
The private Match Room can show relevant profiles, explain why they are being considered, collect photographer responses, shortlist options and compare structured proposals without declaring a winner.
